Brief Answer: There are several possible scenarios, read the full answer for details

Answer: Now there are a few possible scenarios:

  • You did not enter any password yet, then the password is empty and you can just hit enter when you are asked for a password
  • You have entered a password and forgot it. If you have enabled the program locking of double shift, or you do not know what it is all about, you can prevent any programs to run on startup by holding both shift (left and right) together, while windows boots and logs in. If this suceeds then kiosk application will not run and you can run it later and reconfigure it to the way you like
  • If you checked the double shift prevention feature in configuration and also entered and forgot the master password, then it will be very hard to unlock the workstation. Please, contact us for details, you will have to state your order number to request an unlock info
