1st Mass Mailer FAQ

Entering smtp username and password into config dialog

Question: I get an error: Relaying denied for: xyz@somehost.com with 1st Mass Mailer

Brief Answer: You need to make sure you specified a correct username and password

Answer: If you just started sending the messages and received this message right away, most probably your ISP's SMTP server you configured requires you to enter a username and password in order to be allowed to send something through them. In the options dialog, SMTP Settings tab, make sure you have specified the correct username and the password for your SMTP server.
