Access manager provides much more security than standard ways in Windows.
Before you can set up either type of access control, however, you must first
indicate that you want to share your computer’s resources. To do this,
double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel. In the Configuration tab,
click the File And Print Sharing button.
In the File And Print Sharing dialog box, click the checkboxes that indicate
which type of resources (file or printer) you want to share. Click OK, keeping
in mind that you may need to insert your Win98 CD or wait for system updates.
When Windows finishes updating your system, close the Network dialog box. Again,
Win98 may take a moment to update your system. You’ll also be prompted to
restart the computer so the new settings will take effect.
